How many people see this regularly?

Using the "promo" feature we've been putting this post up for people who are new to Jalopnik. I.e., they don't have a Jalopnik cookie. Not sure how well that's working. How many people have seen it multiple times?

If you're on multiple devices it'll show up once on each and, of course, if you dump your cookies every day it'll keep showing up. Have had a few complaints so want to make sure it's not being spammed to people.

The idea behind it is that if you're just coming here for the first time (maybe you followed a link) you know where to find us on social media and, ideally, you then never see the post again.

If you do see it frequently are you dumping cookies, viewing in Incognito, or doing something else that would cause this?

As of when? Because I see it a couple of times a week, on my regular devices/browsers.

I don't know how often you repost it, but it seems to be back at the top fairly often. I'm using Chrome on just one computer in the usual way, no cookie-clearing or anything.

On another note, do the tracking stats really show the page is effective?

I haven't seen it since the new (less intuitive) Kinja system used on Jalopnik came on. However, I used to see it every few weeks before the new Kinja system.

I use Chrome on a desktop; I see it EVERY time I access Jalopnik...yikes! please make it stop, please, please, please!

Have visited it a couple times. If it does not change, I don't read again. Dump cookies every morning. Just another post as far as I am concerned.

I see it once a week or so I'd say, On multiple devices, don't dump/clear my cookies or anything. BUT, it never happens in Chrome or Firefox on my Macbook or my other main laptop, does not matter if I use Linux or OSX. Only in Chrome on one of my other computers when using Win 7 and on my iPad (Chrome). It also happens if I happen to use Safari on the Macbook.. Can't remeber if I've seen it when using my phone, but I think it does show up there. But it's not like it's nuisance or anything.

tl.dr, I see it every so often, but it does not bother me.

I probably see it once a week. But I Jalop from my iphone, ipad, macbook, wife's laptop, and my work computer so it's possible that I see it based on the variety of locations I log in from.

I used to see it every week or so, but now I can't view FP anymore so I don't know. From the second to last Kinja update it directs me directly to Jalopnik Brazil.

Would there be a way to put this sort of post on Oppo? Would be nice to have a welcome post with informations, instructions and ability to apply for author privileges.

I think I have seen it half a dozen times... No cookie clearing. FireFox and IE9
